He never even really did anything wrong in those fights either, he defended td's many times but Cain was relentless. Must have been tough going forward after that. Miocic is a great fighter but he's robotic and an earlier version of Junior would have slept him, and Reem

But even today, when he is apparently in his prime, and JDS is clearly on the downslide, I can't imagine Ben Rothwell defeating Junior Dos Santos. Just impossible for me to wrap my head around. Kinda get the feeling that might be what happens though.

I could never have imagined Reem beating him. A year or two ago that match up seemed like the unstoppable force vs the very movable object. Sad to see what happened but the current version of Reem is very clever and a tough fight for anyone

Can we also talk about the fact that just because he hasn't gotten ktfo'd silly recently Rothwell is still aging like the rest of the pack? Meaning, sure, JDS has lost a step or two, but get caught cleanly - and Shogun can tell you a bit about that from his fight against Te Huna - and you're fucked seven ways from Sunday. And JDS al;so knows about that... from both angles... so let's not get that Rothwell train hyped too much just yet...
