Anyone know if there will be a court action? Seems like the right thing to do, nearly derailed his title run.
Actually I read where he is planning to take legal action, might just be for show though.Highly unlikely. The costs of losing the case coupled with the chance it was probably just an excuse made by Romero lead me to think no.
That's good to hear and it will set a precedent if he wins. If companies sell products that don't list ingredients that causes a person harm, either physically or financially, then they should be liable and I'm thinking(no lawyer here) that they are....Actually I read where he is planning to take legal action, might just be for show though.
Problem with a lawsuit is you open yourself up to true discovery of the facts, also you have to go under oath which can lead to perjury if you misrepresent yourself or the truth.
IMO he will come up with saying something like he is happy to move forward with his career and he is leaving the issue behind. Would probably be what is best for him and definitely what I would advise from a legal perspective.

I'm no lawyer either but based on what I do know I disagree. It would be nearly impossible to prove intentional contamination IMO. There is a high burden of proof in that scenario. That's good to hear and it will set a precedent if he wins. I don't know what kind of action they can take in that regard. But I would actually consider Yoel lucky more than USADA lenient. They have their bylaws and codes and a contamination of supplements supports a 6 month ban. If they dropped the hammer Yoel could have taken his case to arbitration. This way he has to serve a little time and USADA can say their work is producing results. It's a win win. That's really fucked up. USADA was way too lenient on this one. Part of the agreement should have been to take legal action against the supplement company if Romero wants to fight in an UFC cage again.
As clean as my underwear yeahYoel is clean and will be the new MW champ by years end
Jesus loves him, appreciated the shout outsRomero is so lucky, with this tainted supplement myth. lots of people had been suspicious about him for years, many other fighters were.
Thinly veiled.. : D
He's been suspicious even before he started on MMA. people want to believe he had nothing to do with it but is just there for everyone to see. Weird how none of the "He looks bigger" or "He looks smaller than before" assumptions don't happen with Romero.Romero is so lucky, with this tainted supplement myth. lots of people had been suspicious about him for years, many other fighters were.
