Yes. In mma, he's always going to be one of the top commodities until he loses. The demand will always be there because he's the best. He's not reliable, so they'll have to insure the card with more talent.
Bones will almost definitely miss the MSG show, too. He fucked up a lot of plans.
Stick a fork in him, he's done.
He pissed away a gift that very few have. He's made the UFC look bad on several occasions. I suspect a lengthy suspension. It's funny because he talks this "I've been sober and I've change since you all seen me". Apparently not. Same Jon, same stupid ass mistakes.
Probably, I think in 2 years time Dana will be out and Jones won't have to feel super uncomfortable at pressers and such. They're only keeping Dana on for a bit to ease the transition. In the meantime though you gotta think Jones will seek a mega fight overseas.
I know the UFC has higher standards than boxing, but come on, Tyson was convicted of rape, hit a referee and BITE an opponent's ear off and still fought many times after those offenses.
Make him fight on Fight Pass or the Prelims when he returns two years from now. And make him work his way back up against bums, cans and jobbers before he even comes close to a title shot. Like, we're talking about at least 9 or 10 fights before even a top contender spot.
Yes. Why not? Its not like people who got popped before never came back. The guy is too big of a narcissist to really care what anybody thinks of him. He'll do the old song and dance of how he fucked up and he'll be back sooner than later.
