Looking like he's going to face 2-4 years pending appeal since the B-sample came back positive for two substances banned out of competition (PEDs).

Thoughts?

I just dont see it.

Hes gotta be mentally fucked by everything hes done to himself.

I think the bones era is over due to to many bones errors.

Hopefully not. Dude's a disgrace.

Between USADA and the apparent crackdown on eyepoks, just the crackdown on cheating in general, spells inevitable doom for Jones Bones

He is the best MMA fighter of all time. Worst case scenario he'll be 30 when he comes back. He'll be fine.

He has abilities, but hope not.

It's possible, but pretty damn unlikely. The biggest problem with his return is the fact that he gets into even more trouble when he can't fight. Given the repeated failings of his past, it's hard to see him not going back to the drugs and the booze, especially while he tries to cope with being labeled a cheater. I don't even want to imagine what a two year suspension would do to him.

I can see it. Would rather not the guy is a douche bag. But, hes 28. There's a lot of time still for a comeback

Well absolute worst case scenario is he gets 4 years for popping for 2 substances and gets jail time for violating his probation so that could be 4+years making him at least 32.

He'll be back and he'll be a champion again.

At this point I just don't care. I feel bad saying that but it's the truth. Seriously, get your shit together.

I truthfully cannot fathom why anyone would want him back......Barnett pulled almost the same thing years ago on a fight promotion.....and bankrupted them....Jon did a terrible thing.... he destroyed the trust of the organization and his fellow fighters....and it wasn't the first time....In my mind he is a closed chapter......Is he really that insecure - that he feels he needed to cheat to win....Or did he cheat last time too....? We will never know....

I mean, the guy was stripped of the title. He actually never lost it. And he beat the current "champ". So if he doesnt fight again. It's not that bad.

He would technically retire "unbeaten". Because we all know the "loss" to hammill was not really a loss.

If he does come back, it would depend on how mentally strong he will be.

^This.

To both Jones and Rousey.

Karma, reap what you sow. Blah, blah, not a hater of either but no sympathy for either, either.

He turns 29 this month so if he gets a 2 year suspension he won't be making a comeback until he's 31
It's not impossible, but he's shown to be a total screwup outside the cage so it's going to be hard .

Provided he doesn't make an attempt on president's life in the meantime, he will.
