He's 42 years old, the very fact that he won the title via finish is nothing short of legendary. He's obviously at the tail end of his career so he's not going to be a long reigning champion but what he accomplished is truly remarkable.

He already is.

Wasn't champion early in his career when he was possibly the best and became champ later in his career when he wasn't the best.

Both had murderers rows waiting for them though Bisping never ended up fighting any of his. Glover's got 2 eyes though that's a pretty big difference.

He won't get preferential treatment like Bisping did, he's not a company many to nearly the same degree as Mike was.

I think if we got a "hold up" at LHW similar to that it might be Jon Jones moving back down to fight Glover hoping for a winnable match.

Exactly this. I could see him catching Jiri, but Jiri has a good chance to put him away, too. Ankalaev is too well rounded and doesn't take unnecessary risks.
