I have a feeling he won't be able to really defend that belt.

I don't see at all how he could come out victorious against Jiri Prochazka .

He is a great guy and I really like him but don't have a good feeling about this.

Thoughts?

King Mo KTFO Jiri with ease. Glover can easily do the same.

Glover is better than Bisping-Serra-Forrest type champs.

Glover is even better than Lawler.

With that said, I don't think he defends.

Jiri is a very gifted striker and a promising fighter overall, but like I keep saying… his style will get him slept again very soon. He is getting a bit overrated around here.

Glover has a good chance of winning.
First of that KO was some time ago and fighters evolve and improve all the time.

And even if he beats Jiri, the point is that I don't believe Glover to have longevity as LHW champ.

hard to say that he is better than Bisping was but even so, he is still 42 years old.

Who else will take it?

Jiri is well rounded and he’s a threat but if Glover fights anyone else at all, there’s a big chance he smashes him. Even Jiri is a winnable fight albeit a tough one.

Bisping got lucky, Glover is probably actually #1-3.

Kinda frustrating the lack of respect Bisping gets in Sherdog.

Look at his wins, he beat some good fighters. Look at his losses, some were disputed (like vs a prime Sonnen) or against juiced PED fighters.

He then lost to a GOAT candidate.

I've only seen a couple of Jiri's fights. His offense is great, but his defense is blocking punches with his chin. As far as his ground game, I have no idea. If Glover can take him down, is Jiri any good off his back?

this is an honest question, I have become a filthy casual and have absolutely no idea what Jiri's grappling credentials are.

He got some incredibly questionable decisions

He cheated in numerous fights

He lost to Anderson by KO but Herb Dean fucked it up

He's overrated if anything

Kelvin?

Didn't he duck Romero, Jacare, Rob, Machida, Mousasi and Weidman at the time?

You are gonna pretend the Kelvin loss doesn't have a ridiculous set of circumstances attached to it that would never fly in most commissions?

Naaaahh, he's gonna be the Brett the Htiman Hart of the LHW division
