Will Europe ever be like it was in the 90's or 1960's?

When I look back at pictures I see a much more proud, united, and homogenous (yes white) Europe, with mostly Christians and secular individuals. I don't see massive foreign ethnic repopulation/replacement level immigration, or ideological extremists being imported into the country. I don't see Imams burning flags of the country and swearing death/overthrow of the government, I don't see leftists defending radical Islamists, I don't see self hating white folk who brag about becoming minorities in their own country their ancestors fought to defend from tyranny and nazi aggression. I don't see Muslim led Pakistani sex gangs who TARGET young white girls in Britain for sex trafficking, and I don't see those acts being silenced for fear of being called 'racist'.



I see dark days ahead for most of Europe!!! Looking back it seemed like a happy time at least for Western Europeans/northern Europeans. The pop music coming out seemed to talk of a beautiful wonderful future, since we just were years out of the cold war.

I lived in the UK in the early 90s and went on religious pilgrimage to France in the late 80s and early 90s.

In the 90s (US and Europe) speech was freer and criticism of Islam was not socially verboten like it is now, where liberals and Muslims jump down your throat screaming Islamophobia and pressuring Academic spheres and storied Universites to cancel people of Dawkins and Ayaan Hirsi Ali's stature. My perception of those years is that it was far more safer to pillory Muhammed and Islam.

Yes it sound soo cliche to romantize the past and people will claim the good ole days weren't all that good but in my opinion the 90s were the zenith of Western free speech . I do think life was better back then.

Cost of living. The costs involved in having children is huge, at least if you want to give them a proper future. Yeah it's mostly psychological/values that get instilled.

For example, if you want to reduce birth rates you work to eliminate the gender roles and work to undermine family values while celebrating behaviors and values that lead away from them. Birth rates can be moved up and down using social engineering techniques, as is the case in Europe.

Bear in mind that none of these social engineering projects would work if it weren't for exactly that which the poster I quoted mentioned - lots and lots of money. People are manipulated into accepting self-indulgent lifestyles, which in itself is no difficult task due to human's despicable nature, and their money enables them to spend their lives chasing cheap thrills. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with it, given that people who would choose such a one way street over earthly eternity are probably the ones that wouldn't be good parents in the first place. But, when such a phenomenon's dominion is limited to western countries only, one has gotta ask himself a thing or two. If it were a worldwide thing, I wouldn't protest it at all. We are in desperate need of house cleaning.

I know what you mean. It's not because they can't afford children (even if they tell themselves this). It has to do with values and priorities (subconscious properties). This is in the psychological realm.

There are other factors, but the psychological ones are the biggest I think.

Exactly. I reckon it's not that often in "liberated" parts of the west but it's rampant wherever there's social pressure caused by more traditional outlooks that were deeply instilled by religious institutions a long time ago.
