will conor be classy after losing?

Probably not.
Many of his fans will leave the sport as quickly as they came.

Christmas comes early this year.

All this Rousey hate! Am I missing something? I thought she left without saying anything and nothings been heard from her since?

They are professionals.

They will bro-hug, move on, and talk smack again in two months to promote the next gig.

Yup, this is what I see happening. If it's a 5-round back and forth battle I can see them collapsing to their knees in bro-head-hug embrace.

Seems like the trend is being humble, and then your camp comes out
two days later with an 'injury' that was never brought up beforehand.
"We all knew 'so and so fighter' had this or that injury going into the
fight, but he or she wasn't going to let that deter them." Rousey's
exhaustion is a great example. And by the way Dana, if your reading
this, stick it up your ass.

I expect them both to be classy regardless of the outcome. I don't even think either one dislikes the other. They both know they're hyping the fight I doubt either is taking it personally.

Didn't they say in the conference call they would shake hands afterwards?

Both guys are true martial artists fighting the best available competition at the highest level and seem to know how hard it is to get to top. I'd expect both to at least be cordial

Was just listening to the media call. They were both asked if they would shake hands after the fight and they both said yes.

"I'm cocky in prediction, I'm confident in preparation, but I am always humble, in victory or defeat."
-McGregor

I honestly think he will be humble. I think Aldo will be humble win or lose. However, if McNugget wins... Well, that's an entirely different, and likely very annoying, story.

I sort of think he will be, but it depends a lot on how the fight itself plays out too.

I hope he tones it down a bit but I'm not holding my breath.

Despite all his trash talk and general all around douchery Conor is pretty respectful post fight. Aldo always acts professionally post fight.

The only person that I've seen not be respectful after their fights in recent memory are Bisping in his Jorge Rivera fight and Ronda in all of her fights except the Holms fight.

Even Chael and Anderson where respectful after their fight.

I can't see why Conor wouldn't be if he loses.

If Aldo loses he'll do his usual Brazilian thing, make excuses.

he actually said that?

if he did, he just converted an Aldo fan to his following. This is deep stuff.

Jones hasn't been the most graceful in victory....his fight with DC had a bad energy flowing after the fact.

And how come when someone says "I had a difficulty in that fight", it's a fact, and if it's a "brazilian" it's an excuse? It's an odd way of using words.

When Conor finally loses a decade from now, he'll be nothing but a gentleman.

You know this how?

And brining up the torn acl thing is basically making an excuse despite winning but looking like very beatable in doing so.

But I think "excuse" is a property of being "Brazilian", much like bipedalism.

A non-brazilian is incapable of making excuses: he simply states a hurdle he had to overcome, or that prevented him from succeeding. Brazilians make up excuses.

It's quite logical.

(please understand I'm being sarcastic).
