Will China take over the world? They soon can (confirmed)

China's growth has been nothing less than astronomically explosive, and a lot of it has been built on their rapidly expanding manufacturing base.

Google Earth is filled with millions of square miles of manufacturing plants.

China is getting so rich that their gov has more money than they can even find to spend on things.

China will soon have both the economic and military capability to take over the Middle East which contains 67% of the world's remaining oil. After that, it's game over for the rest of us.

Is there any way to stop this? When will the tour be over, boyos?

If the US could only collect more taxes and print some more money we'd be in for the re-pass.

War the hammer and sickle

Army size and military personnel numbers don't mean anything in the age of nuclear weapons.

China isn't invading or taking over shit.

Whatchu gonna do?

China's economy growth is already declining. There are lots of ghost towns, and the living standard is still quite low for the most part. Only the coastal and large cities have a semblance of a developed country while the small villages in rural China still look quite 3rd world.

I was in Shanxi province last year, tour guide says there are still people living in caves because they can't afford to live in actual buildings.

Probably not, but it's unlikely their growth continues as it is.

China's growth is at least partly artificial. There are dozens of massive ghost towns - huugge cities that have been constructed and counted as part of their growth, but no one lives there.

Economic and Industrial Juggernaut + not enough chicks for the dudes to bone = ruh roh

Well we could start manufacturing shit here and I'd imagine it would be a pretty devastating blow.

There are some videos about how China's growth is a sham (I think Vice did an episode about it, for one). entire cities are being built that sit empty with the expectation of future businesses and wealthy individuals moving there, meanwhile the poor farmers who lived there their entire lives are left in the mud (literally).

China is only good for rich people lol

They import more water than US oil import.

Ya they all live here in BC hiding their money from taxes...

It's possible if Hillary becomes President. So fellow Americans don't vote for her.

China exports $2.2 trillion each year. Germany exports $1.5 trillion. China's manufacturing growth is already tapering off, which is terrible news for them because the country is still relatively poor. Now they have to develop other industries to rely on.

China has done amazingly well over the past 3 decades but i dont buy that China will take over the world. There is a lot of ghost cities and wasted resources which have been built into their growth numbers. Furthermore, rich people are moving their money out of china and into the west. In Vancouver and Toronto the rich chinese people are literally spending billions a year on real estate. An average price of a house built in the 50's in Vancouver and the surrounding suburbs is 1.5 million canadian now which is about 1.2 million $ US. A brand new house will cost you 2.2 million canadian.

People have been calling Vancouver a bubble but the Chinese money keeps pouring into the real estate here. It is pricing the host populations out and people are currently pretty happy as they are cashing in millions but they dont realize that their kids are going to be left to renting apartments if there isnt a curb on Chinese money.
