Will Blaydes' wrestling be too much for Jailton?

On a side-note, are foreigners just allowed to juice? Every foreign fighter carries about 20 lbs more lean mass than their domestic contemporaries.

Depends largely on whether he tries to use it or not. The way he’s been fighting lately, he’ll probably love his hands too much, get rocked by Almeida, then get taken down and subbed before he gets his wits about him enough to employ defensive wrestling.
I think that if anybody gets rocked standing it's gonna be Jailton. We've not seen him trade for extended periods of time yet, and he's got an ugly KO loss in his record from early in his career. Blaydes has only been finished by the heaviest punchers in the division, and has also successfully relied on his boxing in some of his victories, so I can't give the edge standing to Jailton at all.

IMHO, Jailton is too fast and explosive for HW. I believe he will easily takes Blaydes down and sub him.
You beat him by knocking him out. Or you dont.

i think jailtons speed and athletic ability will give blaydes problems.

i used to think blaydes has a chance at being champ. that thought is fading fast

Definitely could turn out to be a bad stylistic match up for Jailton and a roadblock. Blaydes has the size, the power, the stand up advantage and yeah, his wrestling and strength on paper looks like it could negate Jailtons usual path to victory. I'm pretty high on Jailton though and if he gets the job done hes fully in the mix probably only behind Pav. After seeing Gane get outwrestled by Frank and stopped via grappling that easily vs Jones i'd have to favour Jailton there. Aspinall vs Jailton i'm not sure.

If anything I think Blaydes should avoid grappling altogether in this one. Almeida striking does not seem stellar and Blaydes has good hands.
