I would be sad for Maia, he's such a cool dude, and a legit embodiment of good sportsmanship, but Condit is the man.

Same. I like both guys alot. I don't mind who wins as long as neither fighter get embarrassed

Maia is awesome. People think he's boring, but I like the variety. He's one of the last pure grapplers in the sport. There are plenty of fighters that will stand and bang, anymore. It's not like back in 2005 to 2009ish when wrestlers were dominating, hadn't been figured out, and were laying on top, doing just enough for three rounds on at least half the card on every event.

Plus, Carlos committed the deadly sin of showing up to a Diaz match and refusing to fight. This can never be forgiven. May Maia punish him with persistent, unrelenting control of position for five full rounds of misery. I will cheer every second.

i feel sad when anybody gets knocked out because that is brain damage, to what extent takes years to show itself but anybody who hopes or prays for a knock out don't give a shit about the fighers they just want to get drunk and pretend like they like what they are watching hoping to fit in.

Of course. Big fan of Maia and I don't find his style boring at all. His fight against Jason MacDonald is one of my favorite fights ever.
