I agree with the notion that Mike Tyson wasn't as good as people make him out to be these days. Or at the very least he didn't face the quality of opposition that would warrent him to be in top 10 all time lists.

That being said, Prime Tyson murders Wilder, very possibly in the first.

When Tyson was in his prime, HW division was dead. He also had major drug problems and didn't give a fuck about his fights the majority of the time. He could've easily gone down as one of the greatest HWs ever. Highly recommend the Tyson documentary on Netflix.

Frank bruno is just ok. not really that good. Every great opponent tyson faced he lost to prime or no prime. Deontay has knocked out a bunch of weak opposition just like tyson.

Wrong. The prime Tyson who ran through the top guys on his way to the title and pretty much ended the night he destroyed Spinks was one of the all time greats. The Tyson who united the belts was an all time beast. Sure he lost focus and good handlers quickly but he was a fast rising star and he burned out rather quick. But make no mistake, that Tyson who won the belt and cleaned out the division was one of the best.
