Somethings for a lot of you know it alls to consider...
-99% of you are not professional fighters and were never close to being one. The mindset of a world champion pro athlete is not that of an average Sherdog poster. Especially for the biggest and baddest title in all of sports. Its winning over all and potentially giving your life for it.
-Wilder had already taken back Breland allegedly
-You don't know Mark Breland. Youtube clips and interviews or old highlight footage dont give you insight into who and how he was as a trainer. Could of been great, could of been MEH.
- You have zero idea what when on in their training camp and who was responsible for what
-The same critics of Wilder's unorthodoxed style and low skill level should be happy hes making changes to his team if they think his fundamentals suck so bad.
-Fury was able to come back better and improve with multiple new trainers at similar age and just as many miles , if not more.
- Reminds me of people giving Danny Jacobs shit for dumping Rosier. When the truth was the trainer had litterally missed camp for the biggest name and fight they ever had.
-Wilder is the boss of his team if he wants to go out on his shield and get knocked out IN A SPORT ABOUT KNOCKOUTS its not really that outrageous of a request. Wilder was not competitive and he was getting beat up but it was not the life threatening beating many of you try to softly make it out to be. If you dont want or like a good knock, out why watch boxing?
Sounds like their is more to the story yet again....
"There hasn't been wholesale changes," said Finkel, who actually managed Breland during his pro career. "And without going into details no one knows what goes on in our camp weekly and monthly and before the fight. And no one knows if this change came about from that one fight, or there were some other things, and the culmination was the loss."
