Wilder leaves Breland

Argue semantics elsewhere..
P4P the dumbest thing ever posted in this section.
There is no ref that would see a towel or a fighter /corner request to stop the fight and deny it.
I guarantee THAT would lead to the ref losing his license.

Not at all, i've seen refs kick a towel out of the ring as it is stipulated the towel being thrown in doesnt stop the fight

Wrong again
Graham earl vs Michael katsidis
2nd round is the one I remember watching on tv as it happened
Another more chaotic one
Miguel cotto vs yuri foreman

I will take that apology when your ready

TY for posting an example. While I get the rule. I was not aware of a ref ever not differing to the towel.

I was not aware or have never seen the 1st fight.
I did see Foreman Cotto but don't honestly remember would have to go back and watch. I cant remember who the ref was.

You won't. I was wrong about 2 refs doing it. And I cant say the 1st instance was ban worthy....I still have not rewatched Cotto Foreman or seen. More to come from that.

Bayless differed to the towel in this instance per his own words.

You can never admit when you are wrong like you clearly are here

this whole "warrior die on his sword" BS is nonsense and everything wrong about some mentalities of boxing, especially in a dangerous sport such as this

Breland saved him from possible brain injury but Wilder rather surround himself with yes men

Everyone should be allowed to do their job with full support. The towel could have been thrown in much sooner. Fury completely outclassed Wilder.

Taking as many punches as Wilder did, he likely made a decision with a brain injury. Not even joking.

Breland just gave an interview. He says Wilder is pretty much done.... Also says Wilder never jumped rope, never hit the speed bag and heavy bag.

I mean I always figured it... If Wilder wanted to be a technical good boxer, he could have. You can improve footwork, defense, jab, ring IQ... But he elected to just look for the homerun right hand that would take his opponents out. Worked fine until he ran into someone savvy and as big as him.

Normally like Gerald vs Nigel Benn corner work is proper stuff to handle ambitions properly.
McClellan ended up with irreversible brain damage. So you are saying that's a good thing?

Arthur Mercante, I believe.

That's sour grapes from Breland and not accurate at all (except for Wilder being possibly done)

he was done that night, the towel was super necessary, if it was mma i would let him hang in there, but with boxing being your only tool, he was being demolished

Where's the people who said that Wilder would've won if Breland didn't throw in the towel? I was told that there were tons.
