I also believe you are ignoring the point about Wilder claiming it was a long count because it ruins said fantasy.

He is didn’t know it was a long count at the time as he was too busy embarrassing himself celebrating too early.....tbh I loose track of all his excuses

Wilder needs to do something different this time round. Even if it just a few tweaks and work on the fundamentals. Making a change May benefit him? I’ve learned something off of every coach I’ve trained with, even the rubbish ones.

Why would he need another one, if Breland wasn't one. Hahaha. Also, I guess he disliked people not being a yes man so much he kept Breland around for a decade.

Surely the first step to learning is acknowledging you don’t know everything already. If he believes all his excuses and they aren’t just for the public and media then he prob thinks he doesn’t need to make changes

Not sure he's still salty, time has passed by.
But Wilder probably knows that he can get in the same situation in the 3rd fight, and he doesn't want to worry about someone throwing in the towel once again in case Fury is all over him.
Entering the fight with that in the back of your mind is not good, so I can see why he wants a change.

Also, I know I wouldn't want the mental baggage of worrying if my team was going to throw in the towel whenever things got rough. Especially if I had the tendency to get stunned and survive in other fights. If I had the greatest get of jail free card in the history of the sport. Or if I knew I would have to go through giant pressure just to land something in the rematch.

hes too late in his career to change anything. Imo he needs to find ways of landing that right hand and keeping the fight long. If a new trainer can help with that it may be a good decision.

it’s all ifs, buts and maybe a though. I don’t think it will look much different than the last fight but I certainly don’t count him out

I appreciate his position and respect that. Personally I prefer to see a coach/corner man make that decision for the fighter. They see it with a different view. They know their fighter, and know when they are in real trouble. We’ve all seen too many examples of cornermen not looking after their fighters, and the consequences

Easy to keep people around who disagree with you if your winning or maybe he don’t disagree with him then....soon as going gets tough people show their true colours. Everyone in the industry I talked to said he was the coach with the most boxing knowledge

I usually can't make sense of all your posts but this makes sense to me. Wilder was not in a weak era at all, he just has avoided good competition until Fury. And then what happened? He got beat. Not once but twice.

You have zero idea what their relationship was like personally or professionally other than what RR just told you through a 3rd party. Lol now its about "true colors." Nah, its about making changes so he doesn't loose or have baggage.
