Whys Jim Miller fighting Bobby Green?

Better than the supposed Matt Brown match up. As for why he's fighting Bobby? Both are names and I'm sure that's the main reason. Jim's been looking good against some of the weaker competition so he's earned a step up which Bobby will provide.
 
worse mismatch for who? Bobby doesn’t check leg kicks, and has been knocked out cold twice in his last 5 fights. Jim still has a chin on him, and will have the grappling advantage. I think he will win

unkess you’re saying green is the underdog here in which case I agree

I know you don't believe in Fight Finder research but maybe you can rewatch all their fights and provide us with in-depth analysis on why this is not a great fight.

What I am seeing is:
- Two exciting, entertaining fighters
- Both fighters have decent social media pop atm
- Similar records

- Similar last 10: 5-5 vs 6-4 in last 10.

This is a dumb argument, he was knocked out by Dober and Turner.

Now he's fighting 40 years old Jim Miller.

Bobby green Is a guy who still has the skills to hang in the top 10 or just on the outside of it.

Miller has been fighting for almost 20 years at 40 years old. He's been fighting lower level guys for years now.

Seems like an unusual bump in competition for what could be one of his last fights.

If Jim asked for the bump In competition, then I guess it's fine.

But this seems like a mismatch, like when edgar fought Gutierrez for his last fight

I'd rather see him fight Matt Brown.

You might be right but if we're assuming this could be Miller's last fight then he deserves a name fighter IMO. And let's say he wins, then he'll be proving he has more in the tank than some people thought which I hope is the case. I could certainly think of other names that would be more puzzling for Miller to fight other than Bobby. We'll see what happens.

Bobby Lee is ranked just on the outside of the top 10. Coming off impressive wins over Grant Dawson and Ferguson. He has the skills to compete in the top 10 or just on the cusp of it.

Still in his prime or at least fairly close to it.

Jim miller has been fighting for almost 20 years. He's 40 years old. Been out of his prime for a long time. The last several years of his career, he's only been fighting lower level guys, which is generally what you want to see in a fighter in the twilight of his career.

This is a massive bump in competition that doesn't make a lot of sense. Especially since he might have one or two fights left in his career.

Jim Miller isn't even in the top 50 @ LW atm.

It makes sense for the only non former champ fight on 300. It passes the eye test. Hmmm I'm thinking bout buying this event, but EU time will be awful
