Why'd Rogan Talk Schaub Into Retirement?

4 KO losses in 5 years isn't that bad. Theres dudes who have taken way more damage who continue fighting. Why did Rogan have "the talk" with Schaub about quitting fighting? Dude had a decent punch.

What you have to understand is the fact that Joe is a visionary.

He saw Shaub's potential in podcasting and stand-up comedy when nobody else did.

Schaub had a great projector until the TUF finale. But Roy Nelson was also a finalist and was so much more seasoned and hard hitting than him

So Schaub had those 4 KOs and that was a lot to explain his place in UFC. He was friends with Rogan

I don't think Rogan or Bravo were in a place to tell him lol they certainly weren't "fighters" (Sorry Bravo, please don't kill me) but their intentions were there. But as someone said it was podcast ratings

No matter what you say about Schaub as a Podcaster or comedian he's made a living for himself and probably doing better than being a fighter. Could you imagine him against Cain, Werdum, Miocic, Pav, Gane, Francis, Aspinall, etc. Even Tuivasa would probably KO him
