Why wouldn't a fame hungry DA seek the max sentence against Conor?

All this talk of Conor getting a slap on the wrist ignores the fact that he has no legal defense whatsoever. He is guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt given all the video footage. No jury would find him not guilty. It's a slam dunk for the prosecution.

Who's to say a DA won't want to make a name for themselves by going all out to jail Conor? Maybe ultimately not get the maximum sentence but have Conor do some time. Said DA won't have fuck you money but it opens the door to other career possibilties.

The only thing that saves him is he doesn’t have a criminal record. If he did, he would 100% go to jail. NYC is very sensitive in being seen as impartial to offenders regardless of status. Yes money helps but Conner fucked up real bad here.

The NBA players in the Malice at the Palace got nothing for beating on meek fans talking shit. And they were black dudes beating on whites. This Conor stuff has been blown out of proportion. Not really I know alot of people who've done similar shit, some with prior who didn't get any time. Probation, community service, rehab, fines etc. In Brooklyn I might add. Can't see my loc cause of dubs. Waa

No priors... really just guilty of recklessness.... no precedent for getting maximum sentence.
