The only reason I can see anyone voting for Cruz is because they don't like Trump.
It reminds me of when John Kerry was running and the only reason they could give you to vote for him was that Bush wouldn't be elected.

Cruz is so creepy, even Marco Rubio wouldn't let him in the foam party.

Maybe if you liked the Zodiac movie?

a lot of people would get a yuuge amount of gross income put back into their net. Cant blame anyone who wants to keep more of what they earn.

ted cruz is about as close to martin sheen in the dead zone as any candidate i've ever seen.

They don't like Hillary? And want massive upward redistribution of wealth?

He also attracts the crowd that is really anti government. Wants to abolish IRS, EPA, Department of Education etc. Wants to privatize everything etc.

Why would anyone vote for Ted Cruz?
If the choice is between Cruz and Trump?

He's well educated.
  • Graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy.
  • Graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor degree.
He's a superior speaker and debater.
  • Won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship.
  • Represent Harvard Law School at the 1995 World Debating Championship, losing in the semi-finals to a team from Australia.
  • Princeton's debate team named their annual novice championship after him
He has experience with and understanding of the issues.
  • Primary editor of the Harvard Law Review and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
  • Served as a law clerk to J. Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 1995 and William Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States in 1996.
And he's a young, proven Conservative and the only Hispanic candidate running.
  • I don't know if that's a reason, but if the GOP wants to expand their base to Hispanics and young voters, why not run a young Cuban candidate?

The National Review supports Ted Cruz.

..the case for Cruz is a case for the return of constitutional government. It’s not a case for utopia. But it is a case for substantial reform. There is nothing “business as usual” about Cruz’s campaign. Just ask the Left. Progressives will cast a Cruz nomination in near-apocalyptic terms — and not because he’s ignorant of law and policy, but because he knows exactly what he’s doing. Cruz is a threat to progressivism. Trump is its great ally.

The irony of this campaign is that angry GOP voters don’t even have to choose between conservatism and sending a message to the Establishment. Cruz can do both. But don’t tell that to a die-hard Trump supporter. He’ll just call you a snob.

I'm pretty sure he's a sociopath and policy wise he's arguably the worst candidate from either party although Rubio was really bad too.

Because they haven't seen through his "human" act yet. He's probably some sort of political cyborg sent back from the future.

They either stand to benefit from his globalist ways, or they're one-issue voter cucks like evangelicals, pro-life voters, etc.

in a way he seems like a poorer less experienced but more intelligent and religous version of... mitt romney

Did he really win debating championships? He's terrible up there.

So artificial, contrived, with a lack of genuine emotion. He pauses after every two fucking words, hoping what he said will sink in to whatever dolt there is that might vote for him.

It comes off as completely inauthentic, which is part of reason everyone seems to think Donald is "real." And his substance is just the standard far- right horseshit, generic.

What a fucking mug, holy shit.

It’s hard to look at Ted Cruz’s face. He’s said to be a brilliant orator with a sharp legal mind. But his expression unsettles me. I understand that my reaction is visceral and automatic, but as a neurologist it is my business to notice things out of the ordinary and probe them. The Senator’s atypical expressions leave me uneasy.

...

Our stone–age ancestors learned to read faces and rapidly tell friend from foe. While we live in a far different environment, we still possess the same stone–age brain as our distant relatives. Like them, we judge instantly. Automatically and more quickly than conscious reflection could ever manage, we weigh whether we like a new face or distrust the person behind it. Our social circuits, which are almost entirely emotional, tell us whether to trust a person or not. Given a million years of practice, our brains are good at this.

Looooooool.

his record. which is why i WONT vote for trump.

Ted Cruz does have a good voting record. But I think that's kind of a stupid thing to look at in regard to being a reason for voting for him for president. I would look at who supporting his run, and it's the Bush family. If Cruz gets into office just watch how he turns into a neo-con. His wife is also CFR. Cruz is a full on globalist in sheeps clothing. I don't really blame people for not seeing it, the media doesn't really mention anything bad about Hillary and Cruz. They are the establishment. They are the globalist choices.
