Why we don't have any news on Lawler next opponent?

Why?
Did he wnated a break?
Is Gsp's coming back?
Condit rematch?
Woodley?

Usually a fighter need a good 12 week trainning camp.
Even if a fight was announced this week, he wouldn't be ready befor July..
Another champ who only fight twice a year?

imo it would be a grave miscalculation to not have Lawler on either the 200 card or the MSG card.

I think they are brewing up something special for him. Gsp, Nick, Rda or maybe even Anderson.

I would have a bit of a problem with Nick Diaz getting a shot at Lawler next ... there are plenty of more deserving fighters at 170 than Nick Diaz. Unless the UFC is riding the Diaz train now after Nate ruined some shit.

He's getting up there in age and miles, plus he has been in some absolutely brutal wars in his past couple of fights. I like the fact he is taking a bit more time and being clever about his career and longevity.

If he keeps putting on shows like he has been I am very much cool with him fighting only twice a year.
