Why wasn’t there an instant rematch between Khabib vs Conor?

To be 100% honest its "cool" to hate on Conor on these websites.
More like "easy, " since he's s piece of shit whose only defenders at this point are other pieces of shit.

Khabib stated multiple times
I've never seen or heard this

he hit Conor the hardest he's ever landed a punch on ANYONE in ANY competetion or on the street.
Khabib's never really been a knockout artist, but this is still kinda doubtful or irrelevant, especially considering there's a difference between a hard strike and a clean landing

When Conor didn't even go down (Khabib's words) and only dropped to a knee for a fraction of second before trying to attack again.
Wrong words, since that was, by definition, a knockdown

It changed Khabib,
Are these still "his words" or are you off of your own fantasy land now?

he knew he would win an MMA match but never wants to see Conor on the street.

I can’t remember if that was considered or not but from $$$ perspective, Dana would surely book it.

Was it because the fight was one sided?

remember both guys were suspended for nearly a year, and Dustin became the no. contender, and also Khabib said Conor has to earn a rematch and Conor refused and only fought two years after against the ghost of Cowboy?

Ah yes because Conor needed another undeserved title shot. That's definitely what should have happened. We should put divisions on hold for a year or two while a guy with zero hope of winning gets yet another fucking title shot despite having zero wins over anybody in the division in the past 5 years.

Fucking idiots.

Hating on rapists is a bad thing?

Conor didn't deserve it. Khabib hated him so much the ultimate victory was to beat up him and his team, live rent free in Conors head forever and never ever give him the chance or redemption, lol and it worked perfectly. Conor is STILL traumatized by the whole saga.
Also if they rematched Conor would get wrecked again, no point.
Pretty much this.

Conor went into a spiral of cocaine, legal problems and PTSD from the beating he took.

Khabib went on to retire undefeated while Conor got knocked out twice by Khabib leftovers.

Not bad. A 2008 troll.

with all that happened leading into the fight with the bus shit, the press conference was weird and dark then the brawl after. I know it made money, I know they used the bus shit to sell the fight and money talks but that just felt like something you want to move past. Now if Conor actually stuck around, won a fight or two they might not have had a choice but to do it again but not immediately.

You guys forget so fast? Dana and UFC was begging for rematch. Conor wanted it because he's delusional and Khabib said he's not here for money. Fans here didn't want it.

Classic the exact person who would still be trolling on here answers right away. Use google, Khabib is my favorite fighter but I don't need his nuts in my mouth, you can have them Kid

Probably cause Conor didn't want to get his ass handed to him again.

<WellThere>

Better question - Why wasn't there an instant rematch between Aldo and Conor?

Because if the second after getting a belt Conor immediately lost it, there goes the new cash cow superstar. They left Aldo in the rear view and instantly went about setting up Conor versus RDA for the LW belt to give Conor the chance at being the double champ. Of course, Nate Diaz fucked up the works for a minute, but then came Eddie Alvarez and Conor made history at MSG. Too much forward momentum for the UFC to make time to give Aldo a second chance.

Cmon man, that's an easy one.

As PROFITABLE as that matchup would be, Conor had bigger oppurtunities on the table, and it didnt require him to cut so much weight.

At some point you get too rich to cut weight.
