The UFC didn't make the switch just so Covington wouldn't be in danger, did they? Covington being in danger was half the fun for me. Damn.
 
Scheduling is my guess and you're right TS. Colby being in danger was half the fun.

yes, Colby was in a lose-lose situation tbh, RDA would probably destroy him but in case he somehow would've won in Brazil, he would be a dead man trying to leave the arena

ufc 224 is in brazil.

I woulds say the reason they moved colby to usa is just to be safe and know it more trouble than it worth.

Or due to the fact that 224 already had a title fight in Nunes-Pennington. Makes sense to give 225 a title fight too.

225 already had Whittaker vs. Romero II. I think 224 needed it more.

224 is gonna tank anyways numbers wise cuz of the headliner. mind as well stack up a better card and try to make more $$$$ with 225. 2 title fights, reem vs blaydes plus cm punk, it should do around 500k

RDA/Colby could have headlined 224. It being in Brazil was a big part of the fights interest during the rumour stage.
