Beyond the Conor TUF nonsense, why do some people seem to hate on TJ?
 
Don't know. I'm a tj fan since his TUF days though so I'm bias.

People have this notion that he should have stayed loyal to Urijah Faber and Team Alpha Male and that someone he's wrong for making a decision that will allow him to make more money for his family and a decision he thought was the best for his career. Honestly, the whole thing made me like TJ more. Urijah Faber came off like a butt hurt child.

That's the thing, the hate really come to fruit with Conor's treatment of TJ during TUF. Before, TJ was never well loved, but he wasn't so hated either. But ever since Conor played the ''snake'' angle, and did it so well, fans just jumped on it. Then losing to Cruz also add more fuel. To this day, sherdog still type "Dillasnake''.

It's a stigma. Damn you, Conor for being such a bully.

Yeah, he wanted to train with Ludwig because he felt it would help him improve. I don't really see the problem there.
 
He isnt a likeable guy I dont like how he comes over one bit.

i think it was more about how he went about leaving -- being creepy, passive aggressive, and not forthright with his teammates -- and everything that was said afterwards. i blame most of this on duane. he's the true snake.

I guess I just don't share the notion that some others do then.
 
I think we all have people just we look at them and don't like them, and I know that isn't right, but it happens everywhere.

some people you just look at and you just know you clash with them by how they speak or how they carry themselves.

Of course sometimes you are totally wrong and end up becoming best friend with someone you could not stand at first.

I think Dillashaw rubs people the wrong way.
 
Cant blame him, he became a better fighter under ludwig. Hes the best and most diverse striker from TAM.
 
TJ just comes off as a bully in this clip, the way he ties him up and stands over him. Nice suplex though..

TJ is a really good fighter if not the best in his division. He is also a pretty big traitor. The guy took all of the support and training that Faber and his team gave him and then left and talked a bunch of trash about Faber. I don't hate the guy but I can see why he draws ire.
