both guys are on winning streaks in a shallow division. Having them face each other is killing off a top contender in a weak division. Also Rumble has already done enough to earn his shot at the title. He dosen't need to fight Glover.

Don't get me wrong I think it's an exciting fight. But it shouldn't happen now. Rumble should wait for his title shot and Teixera could maybe fight Goose. Goose has been out for a while and Teixera could be a good fight for him.

Thoughts?

As much as I love the matchup, you've got a fair point.

Are you one of their promoters?
Enjoy the great matchups

I like this fight, two of the hardest hitters in the sport, both head hunters, both have killer instinct. I like both guys and can't really decide who I want to win, one thing is for sure though don't blink

If you don't think Rumble can beat Glover... THEN HE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING IN THE RING WITH BONES.

Wouldn't mind seeing Tex vs the goose. That's also an interesting fight

its a good fight and great style matchup. stop being such a killjoy and trying to ruin all the best fights. what you want them to do? just sit and not fight.

i don't agree at all. Because DC/Jones will fight at UFC 200 and then what? Glover and Rumble should wait until november/december to fight the winner? That's disappointing. So the fight is OK brother, they should fight
How about you read what I actually wrote you fool. I said Tex could fight The Goose while Rumble waits until after ufc 200. Rumble has been super active lately anyway. He can wait until later this year. His earned it

This is a fight people have wanted to see for a while.

Let it happen. Assuming no one gets injured leading up to it of course.

The only reason it shouldn't happen is for Glovers safety and well being.

Rumble should get the next title shot, with Glover vs Gus for #1 contender.

I get your point, but because the division is so shallow the loser will only be a couple fights from a title shot anyway and this is a great fight. The loser can kill Shogun to get back on track.

nah bro that's stupid. Rumble wants to fight Glover so give him the fight. Why do you want him to wait the winner of DC/Jones fight? The winner of DC/Jones will fight the winenr of Rumble/Glover recently in november maybe december.....and Rumble fought Bader in january. There are nearly 11 months of inactivity for Rumble, a lot. As a matchmaker, you're a good poster
It's not stupid just because you don't agree with it you moron. Yeah you're also a great poster with a double yellow card. Gtfo

The only way it dosent work is if glover and jones win. Glover could lose and still fight gus. Dc could win and then fight glover. In a law of averages, its just about equal any way you slice it. Perfect reason for them to fight

You do realize that if a fighter loses, they don't actually die, right?

The "killing off contenders" argument is the dumbest in combat sports. It minimalizes great matchups, and in mma we don't care if a fighter has a few losses. Hell, almost every fighter has multiple losses.

With four wins and Rumble, Rashad, and OSP being among them they could still do Jones vs. Tex II.

This is the fight for the fans.

Let them bang, bro

A loss doesn't push either guy as far back as you think, Gus got KO'd and still got a shot at DC.
