Why Shields insn't in the UFC anymore ?

Why they "cut" him?
Boring style?

(btw How impressive is that guy career, he might have the worst hands (power/technique) in history of mma...)

Boring but capable of beating many top guys (potentially killing off contenders), and paid a good amount. Not a good recipe for sticking around in the UFC these days. I'd rather he was still around personally but him being outside of the UFC has opened up possibilities for interesting match ups. We got to see him fight Palhares.

UFC got all they were really going to get out of him. Nothing exciting there and wasn't going to sell much at all. I think really wanted more out him and wasn't seeing it his fights. It was nice that he was part of that pack with Melendez and the Diaz bros but he just was so different from those guys in terms of style and personality.

To add I do like him and wish he was still in the UFC. I think there are enough slots out there to have guys like him and even if he hits a win streak and gets a main or co-main event so be it.
