Serious question.
Is it against the rules to grab someones ear and twist it off their head?
Yes, it is against the rules.
Pretty sure that would be covered by small joint manipulation
Illegal Actions:
- Eye, ear, or nose gouging, fish hooking
- Pulling of hair, nose or ears
I don't think it fits within the no small joint manipulation rule. And it isn't any worse than standing shoulder cranks without an opportunity to tap. Its a grey area thats ripe for exploitation. Maybe we'll see it in future.Serious question.

Well, you could. It'd taste bad though. What if you just slip a tongue in it to throw the focus off.

You bein rassist? What about Indian burns?
And what if one fighter just held the ear without pulling it to stop the other fighter from moving his head. So if the 'puller' is only holding his opponents ear (say in a triangle) and the 'pullee' yanks his head away, its the 'pullee's' fault for pulling his own ear right? No rules against twisting.
