I wouldn't be surprised if some higher up A Level powerful CEO was like "Let's pop Jones with a fake fail PED test because I have a feeling that someone will get seriously injured/killed in DC/Jones fights. Then this means the end of the UFC business".

You are missing alot. The obvious is really short notice to lower your stock rating.

Rumble isn't really a short notice guy. He likes to have camps and get in shape and work on his timing.

Plus i don't think he'd want a short notice fight vs a guy he had obvious holes against with a full camp.
