The Cruz fight was the most even fight I have ever watched. Sherdog scored it in favor of TJ as well as many other websites and mma figures... but we all praise Dominic and the Dillashaw talk calmed down 3 days after the fight...

I mean the dude should have not lost the belt on that night in my opinion. He didnt get beat.
That fight was the definition of a draw

There has been plenty of talk about TJ.

Unfortunately it's all negative. TJ won't stop bashing Faber, giving anyone and everyone shit and clamoring for a rematch while he hates on Cruz. He comes off as some bitter ex-girlfriend when he's the guy who supposedly was wronged by Faber and fucked over by the judges. He's incredibly close to a rematch. Take a fight. Win it. Get a title shot. Shut up.

What exactly are we saying TJ did wrong to Faber? Left Team Alpha Male to become twice as good of a fighter? To me that shows that Faber is the winy little girl

Lot of people hate TJ cuz of the Faber situation idk why tho it's not like they grew up together & were childhood buddies

TJ left to advance his career.....I can't fault him for that

Given that Effective defense is removed as a judging criteria at the 2012 MMA Judging Criteria Revision meeting, I think TJ should've won 48-47 winning rounds 3-4-5.

Summary of Changes:
1.Effective Defense Removed as a criteria:

Effective Defense will no longer be considered a requirement for the following reasons:

  1. The committee believes that offensive actions should be the only criteria used to score MMA matches. Offensive fighters are fighters which carry the fight and push the action, and make the fight happen.

  2. Defense is its own reward.A fighter who chooses to avoid using defensive actions will invariably suffer the consequences. For example if a fighter decides that they do not want to block or avoid a strike, protect themselves from a submission, or avoid a throw or takedown then they will suffer the results of those offensive actions being used against them. The only role defensive action plays is to keep a fighter in the fight longer so that they can attempt to score using offensive actions.

  3. Having two fighters avoid offensive actions and rely solely on defense goes against the basic primary consideration of any combative sport: To score using offense.

Exactly. I hate that part of the feud. Its Faber making it a big deal. Literally.
A fighter left his team and became way better. Damn you TJ for showing that
training with Team Elevation made you way better than Alpha Male

Faber is just as annoying and is making it a big deal to sell an eventual fight.

We all talk about how so and so should go to a new camp and train with better people or a better team... but when TJ did it we hate on him because of Faber being chin butt hurt and Conor calling him a snake....? wtf

I agree I rather see Cruz-TJ 2

Faber is Washed up & has gotten numerous Title shots cuz he's a ''draw''

He also keeps claiming he had a "close fight" with Frankie but what I saw was Frankie making it look fairly easy. I think my subconscious hates Urijah

A lot of people have been talking (shit) about Dillashaw since the Cruz fight, much of which is deserved because he's been arguably the sorest loser in recent memory.

I guess I have missed his sore loser comments but I dont doubt what you guys are saying.
It does suck that he didnt get the damn rematch though.

Why is Faber not hating on Benavidez and Lance Palmer for training with team Elevation at all?? Are they only 50 percent snakes?

Don't like tj or rematches especially but he should get a rematch

Its just that. Nobody is really a huge Tj Dillashaw fan.. but if there was a case for deserving an instant title rematch.. This is the one... This fight was closer than Lawler/Condit by far and we argue for that rematch? Who the hell really badly wants to see Faber vs Cruz III over Dillashaw vs Cruz II anyway?
Hardly anybody.... Faber is just more famous

Aldo, Dillashaw and Rousey are pretty much a three-way tie in my view.

The difference being that Aldo and Ronda were brutally KOed and Tj was in the most skilled closely contested match in Bantamweight title history if not in all of title history regardless of weight.
