Why is Zabit on the Fight pass pre-lims?

Just took a look at the ufc 223. and Zabit is on the fight pass prelims. WTF is that? I don't get it...while they put O'Malley on the main card....I don't understand the mentality of the ufc. do they not realize what a find Zabit is? His potential. This is a really stupid move...

He def should be on fs1, but it's way too common for them now to stack the fight pass portion with better fighters as they are trying to get higher ratings for a potential sell. Televised prelims don't matter AS much at the moment

We have to remember that UFC is american company. Russia will promote russian fighters most and UFC will promote american fighters most. It's simple. If you dont make a name for yourself there nobody will give a damn about you. Its entertainment business. Its normal.

O'Malley has 10 thousand more on instagram today. He would've had around 60000 less before last Saturday.

Because it makes fans freak out about them too much and puts too much pressure on them for the spot in the card they are at.

almost every fight on UFC 223 is better than any fight on UFC 222, so of course there are going to be good fighters on the prelims.
and while Zabit is cool and a top prospect, he's still nowhere near the level of popularity of fighters like Iaquinta and Felder. he's also newer and further away from title contention than guys and gals like Taisumov, Kowalkiewicz, and Herrig.

Anytime its a Russian fighter, they get slapped onto Fight Pass by default. It fucking baffles my mind, why they do this with such consistency. Khabib got the "royal" FS1 treatment. UFC 219 was his first time he ever fought on the maincard, think about that.

Fight Pass doesn't even air in any countries. At least FS1 prelims air in some places. How are fans supposed to know who these fighters are if they never even see them? Its the same old broken records who get pushed to the main show, while better fighters get darked.
