Why is WMMA so boring

The only wmma fighter to impress me is Rose Namajunas. IDGAF about the rest.

Talent pool is MUCH more shallow than the men's side. Differences in physique don't immediately make for boring fights: could be very different styles and still exciting - but today, the number of high-level WMMA fighters is too few to have consistent competition. I'm certain it will evolve, but why it gets PPV time at this point is a bit confusing.

IMO. what do I know.

This applies to all athletics. Women are not typically as exciting to watch compete in sports because they are not as strong, fast, or aggressive as men are in most cases. There are definitely exceptions, but it's just the facts. Women's sports get very little interest, where as men's sports are universally worshipped and loved.

You will get people trying argue or call you a bad person for acknowledging it, but numbers don't lie. Look at the ratings and revenue for female vs male sports.

And that is why Amand Nunes could never be considered GOAT

I think the real question is why does Dana treat hardcores like scrubs by always placing WMMA "top 10" fighters on PPV main cards. They usually aren't top 10 quality fights

Hardcores know that the quality of top 25-30 males of all divisions trumps the viewing quality of any WMMA non title fight

That misnomer hurts the sport by leaving a bad taste in both casuals and hardcores mouths. WMMA championship level contests on the PPVs or Fight Night Main events ONLY.

I thought JoJo vs Eye was a good fight. It actually looked like they were trying to hurt each other rather than the usual ‘pretend strike so we can head and arm throw each other’ bullshit 90% of the woman do.

So you missed Chandler's debut? That sucks.
yeah but on dazn it's possible to rewind the live streams. rewatched it right after the conrat fight without any spoilers.

Bc they are all *Invicita level and should never had been allowed to leave that org.

*no where near professional, and the highest level would fit in with same weight class of amateur male

That is the exact fight that came to mind when I think of textbook bad WMMA

the same reason the WNBA is boring as fuck. only a handful of womens fighters are exciting to watch and those same women are usually the champions. womens sports lack the excitement mens sports have. there is a reason men make astronomically more money to play sports compared to women. i have never once seen anyone anywhere wear a WNBA player jersey or a US womens soccer jersey.

well the Ribas/Rodriguez fight wasn't boring and neither was McMann/Pena really (probably too much grappling in that for the likes of you though), so I can only assume you're a casual who tuned in just to see the Conman main event and only caught the last couple of fights

Casuals. Casuals everywhere.

C'mon man you know the answer.

Bad matchmaking, lack of power, and few compelling fighters.

Add or subtract, and that's why a lot of there's fights go to split decision snoozefests with jab Athons and bad cage wrestling.

Real question is with the gender/gender identity executive order Biden passed a few days ago how long before woman who were born as men start dominating WMMA because it's their right to compete against woman if they identify as a woman or have had surgery to change their hormones/genitalia?

Won't be long before we get WMMA fighters who look like Yoel Romero and it won't be as lame.

I swear unless it’s a championship bout the women put out some real snoozers. I was so sleepy from watching them fight that Dan Hooker getting finished in spectacular fashion didn’t wake me, I was out before Conor and Dustin fought.

thanks for the good nights rest though WMMA
It isn't. You just have a mental block.
