Conor gives an honest account of what happened.

"He managed his energy better than me"

"I wasn't used to fighters being able to take the same shots"

"He hit me to the body and i gassed out"

Sherretards: "OMFG EXCUSE!!", "LOL IS CANNOR BRAZILLIAN OR WHAT"

He gave an honest account on why he lost the fight. What else should he have said?

He should have said that he lost because he has poor BJJ skills.

He was moaning about energy and not once said Nate was the better fighter tonight. Diaz called him out for it though -"I am the superior martial artist."

He should have said that he lost because he has poor BJJ skills.

But he didn't. He lost because he was gassed out from Nates punching. If anything, he lost because he has inferior boxing skills. He even swept Nate and got on top.

Please refer again to Nates comment,"I am the superior martial artist." and refer to it again and again until your figure out that Nate is the superior martial artist and would smash him even worse at 155.

You forgot the inexcusable weight excuse which is the excusiest excuse of all, considering Conor was 1 pound heavier at the weigh-ins. You're excused now.

More of a scramble than a sweep. He may have gassed, but even a gassed fighter should show more than that piss poor bjj. Besides, his bjj already looked terrible vs Chad. He could do very little from the bottom.

If you look at his Mendes fight, I guess you could say he didn't manage his energy well their either, luckily Chad just had ZERO left in his tank. Conor's got so big holes to fill; his stand up defense is lacking and he gases out kind of fast. So don't be shocked if his next fight goes about the same as well if he can't finish it in a few seconds.

He blamed it on fighting a heavier guy. Nate Diaz didn't cut weight. He walked onto the scale weighing what he weighed on fight night. So did Conor. They both fought at their walking weight.

What he should have said was "He was the better man. I hung with him on the feet as long as I could and he started opening up and pulled away from me. I was hurt and felt his power. My brain was shutting down from the shots, I panicked and gave him my back. My BJJ was woefully inadequate for him and I need to possibly look at moving camp to train with Alpha Male, the Diaz's, or Nova Unaio."

Any of the above. Also, not showing up as a loser, carrying a belt at the press conference... if you aren't risking it, don't have it sitting in front of you at the presser.

Nate pulled guard. If Nate didn't want to be in his guard, he wouldn't have been in his guard. Period. Once that fight hit the ground, he could have ended it any time he wanted it over. If you notice in R2, Nate had isolated Conor's arm. That motherfucker would be ripped off. Nate CHOSE to mount him and then RNC him. Mata Leao... RNC, Lion Killer.

Conor kept calling himself a Lion. Nate made a deliberate choice to finish with the RNC.

Yeah when people lose its interesting to hear their take on what went wrong. It's unfortunate people always point the finger and accuse them of making excuses. But it happens to all fighters. It's a Sherdog thing.

His bjj is poor, against Mendes was as clear as day. Against Nate I think it was both that and the fact that A) he recognized he was about to get KO'd on the feet which turned him into a panic wrassler and B) he knew he was seconds away from getting TKO'd on the bottom and he just elected to take the least embarassing way out.

Nate was really spot-on when he said something along those lines in the post-fight in the octagon.

I believe you're taking the weight excuse incorrectly.

He's referring to the fact that the heavier person can take shots that would put a FW away. That's not an excuse, that's a fact.

Do you expect Conor to say that shit? No matter if you agree or not, what Conor said is absolutely not an excuse, it's just the way he saw the fight play out.

Though I agree, Nate is better technically both on the ground and on the feet.

Exactly, I don't understand how this goes over peoples heads.

Chad Mendes fought on Zero-notice, no training camp.
Chad Mendes is the smaller fighter.

Those were honest explanations too, though.
Where was your thread then?
