Just watching TUF (unfortunately) and Rashad visits and they announce him as a Hall of Famer, which I had forgotten, and don't really understand why; he was never a super dominant champion & he didn't really leave a massive impact on the sport that I can remember.
Am I missing something and way off the mark here?

Won TUF, won 205 Title, headlined at least a handful of successful PPVs. His final fights really left a stain on his overall resume.

Borderline HOFer to me but I can see the case for him. His grab of the nuts + kiss & subsequent finish of Forrest Griffin probably puts him over the top.

Would have been awesome if he did the grab nuts + kiss right before Machida put him in Shadface eternity.

Look at his wins: Sonnen, Hendo, Liddell, Ortiz, Rampage, Griffin, Bisping

Won TUF, Coached TUF in a very memorable season, LHW champ and multiple time challenger

How could he not be in the HOF? And I was never even really a fan tbh but regardless he deserves it

Won TUF at HW, as well. He was the smallest dude on the whole season. Not only that, he had to fight 4 times to get to the final, I believe. other fighters only fought once or twice. Imes fought twice to get to the finals IIRC.

Because he started The Machida Era, lol.

His interactions with rampage were historical gold. Even him being at the expense end of them. Same with Jones. Rash knew how to sell the fight

UFC is so insecure about their position in the sports world that they force a "Hall of Fame" when they shouldn't even really have one at this point (haven't been around even close to long enough to start thinking about that kind of shit)
