Why is MM scared to fight TJ?

MM isn't scared I'm sure but he knows featherweight don't pose much of a threat and he isn't particularly driven by competition.

I don't think DJ is actually scared to fight him but I do think he'd rather keep on padding his title defense record by continuing to beat weak competition than risk everything by facing TJ.
I think he'd rather not make the UFC more money if he isn't seeing some of it himself.

He can't sign what isn't sent to him. Your logic is lacking.

He would have signed it. You can't prove me wrong.

Why send a contract to someone who doesn't really want one? Wasting paper and time is just stupid. Mighty Duck was scared and is still scared. Until he proves me wrong. Which we both know he will not with all the avoiding talking about a TJ fight he's been doing. Mighty Duck = the winningest champion no one gives two craps about. Why? Because he hangs around a division 3 talented fighters deep and full of kids.

DJ doesn't make the UFC money. He's not a draw, no one cares. He deserves NOTHING until he balls up and starts moving the needle.

So the UFC should not send him a contract until he proves he will sign it, and he can't prove he will sign it until he does sign it.

With thinking like that you should aim high kid.

The fight makes sense if it's at 125. I'd like to see TJ drop and challenge for the belt. It's an interesting fight, it would be a challenge for both guys, and it raises the winner's stock a lot (no matter which one wins). I get that DJ is pissed at the UFC, but you can't take that stuff personally. Dana is a total clown, but he's just trying to make the organization he runs more money. Can't blame him for that. DJ has the disadvantage of being an employee instead of the boss.

He never intended to. All you know is what DJ said lol. And you hang on it lol. The UFC knows he wasn't going to fight TJ, TJ knew DJ wasn't going to fight him, and DJ knew that he was never going to fight him. You seem to be the only one NOT in the know lol. Grow up lol. Kids these days and their blind stupidity.

No I get it, your position makes so much sense.

They should not send him a contract until after he signs it. Why didn't I ever think of that.

No he didn't. He agreed to the fight as long as he got paid if TJ missed weight. TJ said it was reasonable. Dana said no. Dana turned the fight down not MM.

That is what you call, demanding something you know for a fact the ufc isn't going to give you...so, in effect, the fight isn't going to happen....that's like dj saying, I want 20 million dollars to fight...then saying, see, i wanted to fight, they just wouldn't pay me...asking for outrageous things, that you know the ufc will turn down, isn't accepting the fight...

Why would you want a fight a bigger more skilled fighter over scrubs that will help pad your record?

MM doesn’t have to do shit. He has his division on lock. If a larger champion wants to fight a smaller guy get to cutting. Conor realized this and did it for 99% of his career. If you’re going to talk shit about MM you have to do the same to pretty much every other champion.

MM is great!

If you can make weight you're allowed to fight at that weight class simple as that and from what I heard Cody cuts only a few pounds more then MM.

If TJ made weight what extra did MM get?

Not the same as asking for $20 mil.

No one is stopping Cody or TJ from cutting to 125.

I agree, they can both cut to 125 any time they want and fight there.

If that were true they would be talking about moving up in weight. Maybe I missed it, can you show me then asking to fight Max at 145?
Max is a new champion wait till he has some defences. Cruz wanted to fight Aldo in the past but Dana didn't let it go through at first then Cruz got hurt. Aldo also wanted to fight Pettis but Dana didn't want him to hold 2 belts.
