Why is it when a fighter loses he automatically sucks?

RDA got hit with a CLEAN punch right on the button and was in la la land from that point on. Prior to that, he was doing pretty dam well.

What does this mean?

Alvarez was the better fighter tonight. Obviously there are times when certain fights are complete mismatches and the winner is not just the better fighter that night but more than likely the better fighter ANY night against that opponent. For example.....GSP vs SERRA 1: Serra was the better fighter that night BUT was far from being better than GSP.

RDA and Alvarez 2 is still up in the air, both are still world class, and extremely competetive and evenely matched.

Just because RDA lost does not mean Conor, Barboza, Frankie or anyone else would absolutely whoop him.

This does give off a Serra/GSP 1 vibe. I don't have any rational behind it, but I think RDA crushes Eddie in a rematch. Same way I feel about McGregor/Aldo. (Oddly enough I think Diaz and Edgar are way easier match ups for Conor.)

Look at Velasquez vs JDS II post fight interviews where the crowd booed the fuck out of JDS but during his walkout and intro, they all cheered. I know people who jumped and cheered for McGregor when he KOed Aldo but did the same thing when he got subbed by Nate and was like "Eh, Conor wasn't that good in the 1st place anyway".

It happens and it's fucking stupid. RDA beat Cowboy twice, Bendo, Diaz, and Pettis but now he was never that good. Just like when Conor lost to Nate he automatically became a can and his wins over Aldo, Mendes, and other meant noting. If Conor beats Nate in the rematch then Conor will be GOAT again and Diaz only got lucky in the first fight

Brock will be the same way if he wins people will jump back on ther trian and want him to fight for the belt
