Why is Frank Shamrock not in the UFC hall of fame?

If only Ken had seen Dana's potential and had his back, he'd probably be in a nice paying ambassador role type job for the UFC right now.
 
Both of Shamrocks are not the smartest guys. They could have had steady revenue stream coming from the UFC if they had played their cards right. Commentator gigs or what not. Forrest is prime example of this. Liddell and Hughes were too. They didn't have to do anything and had a lucrative jobs after their careers until UFC got bought.

I remember back in the day, Dana White said that he and a friend flew out to meet Frank Shamrock and train with him for a day or something and Dana White gushed that Frank was a great teacher. Then Frank Shamrock said Dana White was a liar and that he'd never trained him for a session. That was maybe 15 years ago, maybe longer than that. It was kind of a strange, funny thing on both sides though. Frank came out pretty savagely against Dana for basically complimenting Frank--calling him a good teacher--and at the same time, if the story really is false, its a bizarre thing to make up.
 
I don't think Dana cares for him much.
 
Dana just really loves and respects him so he’s waiting for the right moment to make it extra special.

Both of them always were company men and would say yes to everything coming from the UFC. I dont critizice Frank for not being a useless lapdog like Liddell.

But Frank and Ken always were quite difficult to communicate with and they are not the most honest persons in general. So my guess is both parties are at fault here. Especially as Ken is included.

But all of this should not play a part in UFCs Hall of Fame. Shows you really that its more of a Danas buddies club then about the best fighters. Just look who is in right now : Forrest Griffin, Bisping and Mask <Lmaoo>
 
At that time,guys like Frank and Tito were both not getting paid enough to make fighting worth it to them. Thats why UFC made Tito out to be a bitch in the whole Liddell situation. Tito was trying to hold out for more cash and chuck only concerned with fight itself.

I think Serra is the biggest one that do not belong in the HOF. I really like the guy and he is really funny but come on. He did win the title from GSP but there is no denying that the win was a complete fluke.

Yeah I thought that was one of the most obvious examples of being a buddy of Dana = Hall of Fame

Just looked it up and not even George St. Pierre WHAAAAAAAAAT
