Fig vs Cejudo is a huge fight... and would put away any claims of being a paper champ.
Don't you think Fig vs Cody does much? I suppose he could in theory fight any Bantamweight willing to move down which opens a few more options up. Perhaps Edgar or TJ or someone else could give it a go, not sure any are as big as Cejudo but potential money match ups I think(also not saying this should happen, just speculating).Really its his own obvious money match in the division, its either that or move up.
I suspect he's hoping to win at the weekend and start off a fued with Cejudo at the PPV or in the press conference afterwards.

Good points, but Cejudo could would also be a while away though you'd think, Cody hopefully recovers and TJ presumably has a win by the time any Figgy vs Cejudo fight is close to being booked.. Unless of course Figgy smashes Moreno and is immediately ready yet again, but for a fight like Cejudo you'd think he'd want some time to prepare. Not sure you'll see TJ fighting at 125lbs when he comes back and Cody I think would need a bit more wind in his sails at 125lbs plus of course is currently laid off with covid after effects for who knows how long.
Cejudo also lost to Joe B lolI agree.
Triple C destroys him and makes it look easy. There's very very few elite fighters at 125. Just b/c Fig raped JoeB doesn't mean he's an elite P4P fighter.
Triple C took out Dillashaw, Marlon and Might Mouse. That's one of the most impressive 3 fight runs in MMA history.
He's made ridiculous strides this year and we've all become fans. The man is incredible.
That said, why call out Cejudo right now?
Why fumble everything you've accomplished by having Triple C come back and separate you from your consciousness.
Fall back Figgy!
CCC would melt him, easily
Figureido destroys midget Cejudo in the first round by knock out.
Honestly I think Fig would violently, like more violent then usual, send Cejudo into permanently retirement. He's made ridiculous strides this year and we've all become fans. The man is incredible.

Cringiness aside U cant deny Cejudos skills. He transformed himself into a world class karate based striker while maintaining his elite wrestling ability. Few are as well rounded in todays landscape. Yan probably gives him a good fight but i favor triple c. Who else is there aside from Fig? Sterling? Nope. The Ghost of Aldo would give him a fight for 2 rds max. I also believe Cejudo has figured out MM, but a rubbermatch should happen down the line. Fig at flw is his toughest matchup and if he gets his wish at a crack at Volk, id slightly favor the macedonian due to his sheer size(lol bet he dosent hear that often), but skillwise Henry us superior to Alexander.Lotta young accounts in here trolling that cringejudo shit.
Maybe if the little guy didn’t end his career by calling out washed up commentators and 40 year old former featherweights I’d agree.
Finally someone with some bit of sense left and who's not fucking biased because of triple C's anticsI agree.

TJ might feel like he's got unfinished business, would be interesting to see if he does try that division again, I guess it really depends who he fights next and how that goes, if he comes back and loses at Bantam maybe he'd make the quick jump back down, CCC being in the picture again may or may not affect this decision equally.
I say instead of cutting contracts exchange all of them for Mighty Mouse and lets see a 4 man tournament between MM,CCC,TJ and FIG. with Cody as the backup option or instead of TJ, depending on health.
