He's coming off a good win over the brazilian Cowboy, nad he's better there at 155.
Is this just for temporary fun cause fuck it from both sides? or is it a permanent move up like Benson?

Well in Cowboy's on words, "why the hell not?"

who gives a shit he probabely knows he wont get another title shot now and wants to enjoy his life

and this is an awsome matchup

Doing what Conor couldn't do... make a name for himself.. getting more money.. getting a quicker title shot.. something along those lines i think.

He may not be able/willing to make dat cut to 155. That happens at some point for some fighters.

That fight was at 170, too. I think Cerrone's done about all he can at 155. 170 will be a fun venture for him. Lots of new challenges.

I think the cut is getting tough for him. He actually is one of the few fighter that can still use iv rehydration d/t his intestinal issues. So it's not the iv ban that forced him up.

I recall Cote fighting for the title at 185 not too damn long ago.

Come on, man. You really think Cerrone beats Cote ? I couldn't disagree more.

First round TKO/KO Cote.

Côté has managed to sustain a very respectable and lengthy UFC career by managing to secure a ton of victories over guys who are not top 10 material. He's certainly a professional all around, and deserves this fight, but I expect Cerrone to outclass him.

He's not moving up. His last fight was also at WW. You forgot?

Only because they literally had no one in the division at that time. This was prior to re-signing Vitor and then acquiring Strikeforce. Middleweight challengers at that time were guys like Thales Leites coming off of 4 fight win streaks. It was a fairly low point in divisional history.

Cote can bang and even Silva had no answer to Ko him. I will wager on this fight hoping for a 325+

How shitty of a fan are you that you didn't know his last fight against brazilian cowboy was also at 170?

Superfight money. Cowboy's got babies to feed. Maybe, I actually have no idea.

Yes, because Conor certainly never "made a name for himself" or picked up a title shot.....
