Nobody wants to be poor and homeless in Minneapolis but you can survive it in Albuquerque.

I have lived in Alb for about 12yrs now and yeah it’s dumb ghetto. They take pride in it too. But most of the people are all about respect. Treat them alright and they ok, disrespect them and they will go hard on you quick.. Most of them are just broke and don’t want to be judge over it. Like they know they don’t have shit, but they still have an expectation of respect from anyone that see.


But as far as crime goes, yeah it’s out of control right now. Back in 2012 Albuquerque had more Cop Shooting/Death than any other city in the US per cap whatever. So the cops got hit with all these Federal Oversight and after that most don’t give fuck anymore cause everytime they arrest someone, they can’t do their job right cause of the red tape on them from their bosses and shit. So yeah the city is out of control right now. Murders every other day out here and all over the city and not just the War Zone(and yes part of the city is really called the War Zone)

Because it’s in the desert. In my experience, if a town exists where people shouldn’t live, it’s generally shitty. There is nothing to take pride in and towns are so spaced out that boredom gets the best of the populace, hence drugs.

Yeah it’s shameful. I got pressed one day by someone acting hard but I walked away cause I ain’t got time for that shit but it was a fucking Whole Foods and he was still trying to be hard. Shit was dumb as hell. Nothing more than words though.

I drove through Albequerque a few times, and it looked like a fucking medieval settlement in the desert. I didn't stop, because I'm not poor, but it looked like a pile of rocks and dust. The whole place was barren and bereft of life.
