You haters are missing the point of why we are fans.
You all got caught up in the play, the business, the banter, the fun.

It was never about these things for me. It was never about being the GOAT or a tri-divisional champ. It was never about the business(the trash talk) or the hype(the fandom).

Conor is an entertaining unique fighter. He puts on a show everytime and shows up everytime. He finishes fights and has a style that's very pleasant to watch. He accepts risks and takes them open heartedly. Outside of the cage -Conor has a fantastic philosophy on fighting. He has a great outlook at life. He has inspirational quotes and he seems to spew laughter and positive vibes.

So here I am, still a Conor fan. I'd like to invite others who see eye to eye with me to stand as well. Let's not be a hitter and quitter bandwagon.

Anyone who stops being a fan of Conor just because he lost was not a real fan in the first place.

The worst part of Conor was his fans. Hard not to like his style or mentality even if his fight selling schtick is getting old. When he's not selling a fight he seems pretty genuine.

That's my favorite part. Outside of the fights.

Still a fan.

It's just so goddamn satisfying and entertaining to rub the embarrassment of their golden boy into the faces of his delusional fan boys.

Nate bless

The worst part of Conor is Conor. His fans are a close second. Ditto for Ronda.

He puts on a show, risk high and get high rewards, I can totally relate to that myself, most humans are just pussies to go out and try something bold and end up living the same shitty life everyone does.

Nah, it was about all of that.

Go ahead and try to re-write this story, but it's plain to see, the reason why you guys loved Cloner so much is what makes this loss so fun to experience.

The exodus is upon us.

The dude has some of the most embarrassing, infantile man-child fans I've ever seen.

Grown Men idolize the guy...dress like him, act like him, quote him all the time.

Teeny-Boppers love him because he's a 'troll' and they enjoy trolling about the dude, about how awesome he is and so on. It's thoroughly embarrassing behavior.

Unfortunately anytime I see someone who is a 'Conor Fan' I assume they're an absolute muppet like the aforementioned.

Conor lost a fight at 170. But at least he fucking took the fight. Many champs and regular fighters play it safe. He could have easily said no to the last minute change in opponent and weight class. He took a risk, but at least he had the guts to do it. I like fighters like him, win or lose.

lol OP has 2 likes. Mcgregor fans are worse than northcutt fans

there's some romo stuff going on with him IMO.

TS: we get it, Conor will retain some fans. What I don't get is what compels you (and others that have made these threads) to inform us. I would find that more interesting - as I see no reason for it. Is it similar to why people attach bumper stickers to the ass-end of their vehicles or something? (Btw, I really don't fully grasp this either, but to each their own.)

Still a Conor fan? If you were a Conor fan which you seem to be a loss is not going to change that, that is talk of a true blue casual. I am a fan of every one of them even Moose the Douche Gegard and its not easy being a fan of somebody you have absolutely nothing in Common with, as a matter of fact if he did not fight I would hate him and his "The fans don't pay me " dumb ass.

Thanks for the info, now go cry.

A good loss purifies a fanbase. I just hope that Diaz knocked some of the crappier fans off of Conor's wagon.

You're still a Conor fan because you hit puberty roughly 2 weeks ago.
