People are forgetting all the free games out there also.. you wouldn’t get games like fortnite back in the day free or rocket league . Games are on average much cheaper . You had to buy everything back in the day
Games back in my day were 40 pounds. Nowadays they're 50-60 right?
But now you have the whole buying content. The amount of money kids pump into Fifa etc is scary pathetic...
dont know what that is but 3 bucks isnt free.what about shareware? first campaign of DOOM cost me $3 for a 3.5" floppy or two, same with all of the apogee games

I mean u can kind of do that now, buy games off of people on craigslist or whatever for dirt cheap,. I think went I got rid of my ps2 I sold 20 games for 20 bucks. Gamstop has that bargin bin area.well the content was free, you were technically paying some nerd at a flea market $3 for a floppy that happened to contain those files
was the sharething legal? we are just talking legal ways. I mean you can get games for free illegally now too. MY buddy had every game for the wii, someone , somehow did something to it that added every game

like syct said, you’re basically paying $60 for like 1/2 to 5/8s of a game, then pay more money just to get the rest through micro transactions
just use an emulator and download free games online. surely, there are emulators for the latest gaming platforms, and free downloads of games if you look hard enough. i'm not a gamer, so i'm only speculating.
Nope emulators don't come out until long after the system is done. I think the WiiU emulator is the quickest I've seen it done and actually work well.
The hardware of consoles is practically identical to pc's these days so they're going to come out quicker.
