A country with 1.3+ billion people poised to become the 5th biggest economy and largest population in the world.

Why doesn’t Dana care about India?

There has to be a GSP caliber fighter yet to be discovered in India.
 
You know of any Indian athletes we're missing out on? Any names to research?

The greatest MMA fighter they have produced in Sing Jawdeep is a bum.

I don't think there is an indigenous combat sport culture that would prime the Indian market for MMA the way there is in countries like Brazil or Russia or Japan.

I really don’t think India is the kind of country that digs mma. Cricket is more their speed.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
 
A similiar thread was up a while back and some Sherdogger posted a LOT of facts on studies done on ethnicities and there athletic abilities.

To sum it up, Indians (dot not feather) barely posses an athletic bone in their body. They also carry less muscle and more body fat than any other race/ethnicities.

To excel in MMA you cant start off with those attributes
