Why has DJ not fought in 7 months. He's healthy.

Then you have DJ, who as far as I know is healthy and ready to go. But he hasn't fought for 7 months, I know he is fighting Cejudo soon but why did it take so long.

Unless he wanted a vacation, which I don't think he did. The dude was one of the most active champions.

He's not exactly a big draw so I can imagine that hes not under too much pressure to fight. Lets not forget that his division is pretty shallow and the list of quality contenders doesn't look too hot

Remember in the WCW they had the TV Champion. Just came to mind that they should just relegate MM to defending his titles on FS1 or FOX cards strictly Fight Night TV cards.

This ^^^. The casual market wants no part, time and time this has been proven. People bitch about the women's divisions but if any weight class gets the axe it's going to be the flyweight division
