He seems really good so far. He is blasting decent dudes out. I think lopes is great value bet but silva seems pretty good
 
I will tell you why!

Because no matter if it's FW or LW the guy is bringing violence. Because he's also doing it with technique. Because he's eating punches and not backing up if a counter suddenly comes through.

So the guy is a wild, scrappy and careless fighter at heart. He has just trained his skills to an elite level where he also can rely on having better technique.

Is the guy a complete nutjob that society should be glad found cage fighting? Yes. Can I still be a fan of what he's doing? Also yes.

Don't think he's champion material either, but he has fun fights and it's on a roll so I hope he wins. At least we would have a new contender for Volk.

I dont consider either of them hype jobs. Silva dominating Bryce, and Lopes going tooth and nail with Volk, shows the class of these two fighters. The hype time is over. These guys are legit.
 
On one hand I don't believe in late bloomers, on the other I can't deny that he treated Bryce like a child. Made it look like Ilia struggled.

Silva please don’t tell me you think he turned the corner on echo chamber hype machine off Bryce Mitchell cmon now look at his record …..I’ll give any fighter his dues just by being 18 and 2 in the manner he has of course that’s an accomplishment especially in the UFC but relative to the echo chamber he’s bloated.

Because he acts bat shit crazy which seems really authentic and gives me the creeps. He seems to win in dominant fashion but why the fuck are people still using Bryce as a fight talent indicator is really weird. He just needs to shut up and fight like all the nerds, just do your job. Agreed that this is the test and I predict Lopez subs him by arm breakage or sleep.

No way in hell Jean taps, he probably gets off on the pain.
