why don't more gi companies just give you the patches

instead of sewing it on just to give you the option of having patches or not? I think fuji is doing a great thing by doing that. I mean it would cost them less...

I feel its because if they just give you the patches you will not put any on. If they put them on they hope you will be to lazy or cheap to take them off, so they have a better chance of a walking billboard. Just my opinion, I could be way off who knows.
