I can’t see any real reason for fighters not to cheat more — there’s basically no downside to it.

1. You get at least two free eye pokes or groin shots every fight without any penalty (or more if the ref’s blind).
2. Most of the blame (from media,fans,your boss, other fighters,...) goes to your opponent if they decide to quit.
3. The worst punishment you’ll get is a no-contest (basically a draw).
4. Even if they decide to keep fighting, you still get a clear advantage.
5. If it’s a title fight, you usually get an immediate rematch —> more money, less work.
6. Your opponent might even be at a disadvantage in the rematch thanks to the damage from your eye poke or groin shot

If you abuse it you'll get DQ and lose the fight.. if you're insinuating Gane abused eye pokes you're incorrect it happened once.

Unintentional if it happened twice there's intent. I think people don't understand fighters put out there aligned hand up when they kick to the leg and body for many reasons mostly because it happens naturally also for defence you want you're arm up Tom was moving in it happens
