Why doesn't Conor fight out his UFC contract then take the Paul/ Mayweather/ Pacquaio fights?

All these fights are big money that he'd have, or has already had to, split with the UFC. He could have done these by himself already and kept all the money if fought out his contract. But he just retired for a few years. Why isn't he doing this?
I honestly can't tell if Dana or Conor is lying at this point. The Diego Sanchez thing blew my fucking mind, why doesn't he just ask for BJ Penn while he's at it?

I disagree that winning the LW belt without beating Khabib doesn't do much for him. Conor is an egomaniac, and I think flashing that belt around again would mean a lot to him. Not as much as beating Khabib would have meant, but it's still a major accomplishment to hold the belt in arguably the UFC's toughest division.
he is an egomaniac, that's the problem tho. it's a bit of a paper champ thing. Getting the belt without beating Khabib is pretty hollow. especially for old Connie. If he does get it, lets just hope he defends it finally.

Hope not, hate this crossover BS.

Because at the end of the day Conor is not some gimmck circle show, hes a real fighter. He only fought Floyd because he truly thought he could beat him, which was foolish ofc, but I do not think Conor is in dire need of money
No.. he fought Floyd for the money.. nothing else.. you know nothing about conor, the man has been saying all his career "I am here to get rich adn get out quickly". He did that and got bored and came back to compete in his hobby.

Floyd is literally fighting the other lesser known, weaker Paul brother as we speak, it has been signed and announced a while ago. This is the man that literally invented fake-retirment, and every p4p diva has been copying it since, for example cejudo and conor.

Also Logan Paul is 6'2 220 lbs ripped @ 25 years old and has a boxing record. Mayweather is 5'7" 149 lbs and 43 years old. My point is he's not some guy walking off the streets. He's a huge 220 lb guy that actually trains. Mayweather is being way too cocky here by not even taking him seriously.. My gut instinct says he's getting KOd like Serra vs GSP.

Logan fights at like 189 pounds, your cut instinct is handicapped.

Floyd is 5’8 and there’s much more to boxing then muscles. Logan can’t box, he’s going to get worked
I guess some people forget how good Floyd actually is. Despite this being an dumb exhibition match, Paul is gonna be swinging at air all night.

Khabib got the belt withou fighting Conor. He beat al iaquinta.

Pretty sure Logan trained at Floyds gym for his first and possibly 2nd fight, I'm sure Floyd knows exactly what he's getting into, KSI has beat this guy, his cardio sucked both times.

He lost to a youtuber?

every once in a while I’ll read a post and think “holy fuck I was having a bad day but at least I’m not as dumb as this guy!”

this is one of those posts.

I'm actually the exact same height/ weight as Floyd. No matter how good he is, he has trouble coming to him if he thinks he can just treat a guy that big as a joke. The size/ performance difference between 150 and +6" and 220 lbs is just too much to not take seriously.
Why did you bring up your own size, as though that somehow gives you some kind of better insight into Floyd Mayweather's boxing ability vs larger opponents?

Not in this case, it won’t matter.

Because, as a guy Floyd's exact size down to the height and weight, I've felt the physics of the size difference. And since I'm not a boxer, I'm not cocky about my own ability. I can easily Floyd being arrogant about his world championship abilities in a fight like this. He has to tread carefully or, even as a former world champ, he's toast. He might be too arrogant to think that, and that's a weakness that Logan Paul could exploit.

I'm just saying, a 6'2" 220 lb man with 6 months - 1 year of training has a chance against any 5'7" 150 lb guy, even Floyd. Floyd better not forget that. It sounds retarded but there is a path to victory for Paul here. It's not likely but it's crazy to me that no one here seems to even recognize it as possible.

This is part of the control Conor has over the UFC. Also the reason why Conor makes bank.

Doing it all on your own isn't a cake walk either there is alot going on behind the scenes, people getting paid, and liability. I'm sure he just looks at it as easier to let someone else do that leg work and use their brand to push you.
