Why does Joaquin Phoenix try to deny his cleft lip scar?

Joaquin Phoenix was born Joaquin Rafael Bottom in the Río Piedras district of San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 28, 1974. He was born with a mark on his lip, which he claims is not a cleft lip.

Joaquin was a handsome mofo, too bad he is a hardcore vegan, dude has a masculine face imagine if he was takin TRT and keeping in shape, dude could easily play Snake from Metal Gear Solid

He's kinda manlet sized but plays roles that hide it, or has some deal with directors to never show it

You don't notice it until he's photographed IRL

"And now we're left with a hare-lipped reminder of what might have been."

It works because it's straight up and down, almost centered, and his nostrils are different sizes.

If it was a cleft lip he would have had it as a kid:

He's had a rough fn life, if he wants to deny it, and save a little decency, then let him deny it

I think this thread just diagnosed me with dyslexia.

I read cleft lip as "left clip" over and over again every time it's mentioned. Then all of a sudden my brain switched it back to cleft lip.

Almost like that brainstorm/green needle thing

I'm more interested in wtf is wrong with his shoulder/arm. I notice it in every movie and it weirds me out
