I honestly hope this guy loses out on his title shot to Glover. Even though he beat Glover it's worrisome to see so many so called "fans" give him a pass for never fighting. He hasn't fought since May and feels that he is in a position to just sit out and wait for a title shot. Meanwhile Conor fought more recently and gets subjected to all kinds of criticism. Do people really think this guy should get the DC/Volkan winner when he just sits out for long periods of time for no reason? He should take a page out of Volkan and OSP's book and fight more often. He definitely isn't the top contender at this moment.

Affairs of RL priority aside, there's a romanticism in his take two with either head of class because of his performances showing an otherwise uncommon touchability in both. That sort thing storyboards well with fight fans – the nostalgic breed we are.

Seems like he appears like once a year, looks good, and then disappears only to reemerge again when nobody is thinking of him anymore. Not really a good way to build momentum or popularity with the UFC or its fans. I'm sure a good deal of it was probably out of his control though. I thought that after he just looked beastly against Glover that he really meant business and was back for that title. Then crickets again.....

Also, the LHW division is so shallow right now that he deserves the next shot after Volkan by default. No way a guy he beat in his last fight (Glover) should jump ahead of him.
