Why do people keep mentioning Fres

Not only was he shit 15 years ago, for some really strange reason people keep mentioning him like he is relevant.

I had to actually check to see when he last fought and it was 4 years ago, which also surprised me, as i thought he disappeared 10 years ago.

Why are people talking about Fres again?

Basically the WBA owes him a shot at the "regular" heavyweight title after he won a court case against the sanctioning body. Its just taken forever and a day to get the match made.

B/c Fres is a pretty fun name to say. That's a cool ass name, I feel like everyone should have a friend named Fres. It would make life better to be able to yell "HEY YO FRES!" once every week or so. I'm gonna start doing that.

Since Joshua has two belts, one being the WBA, they then promote him to "Super Champion" and the WBA title becomes the "regular" championship, which Manuel Charr has.
So now we get Charr-Oquendo for a title, that's really not a title but more of a contender spot, which I assume neither will ever get to use on Joshua anyway.

Not only taunting him but also made it a boring fight, he knew he had the fight in the bag then paid for it, classic ending.
