Iirc here was multiple fighters that said Fedor during staredown gave them shivers
<Fedor23>

why? his staredown is not really intimidating, it's more stoic than anything

There is an awesome quote about Fedor doing exactly this... In Fighter’s Only Magazine, a sports psychologist had been quoted saying, "The best when it comes to the stare down is Fedor Emelianenko. Watch him: he does not make eye contact and his entire expression is extremely relaxed - you would think he is about to perform a ballet or something. But here is the crucial thing. When the referee tells them to head back to their corners, Fedor suddenly darts a short look directly at his opponent - or through his opponent, I should say. This kind of look is associated with antisocial behavioral disorders and psychopaths. They don't look at you, they look through you. It's emotionless; it goes deeper than skin level. You will get a lot of fighters who will catch that look and suddenly realize they don't want to be there. Wanderlei Silva has a stare-down that makes you think 'this is gonna hurt', but Fedor's makes you think 'I might die'."

Brett Rogers
Having repeatedly declared in the months leading up to his clash against Fedor Emelianenko that the Russian was a man like any other, Brett Rogers admits now to seeing the truth.

"He's definitely a different fighter," said Rogers of the heavyweight champion, who will put his legacy and nine-year unbeaten streak on the line Saturday on CBS (9 p.m. ET/PT). "I look into his eyes and I see nothing. I don't see if he's serious. I don't see if he's trying to be funny. I can't sense anything from him. A lot of people say, 'Don't pay attention to his demeanor because it will psyche you out.' It's true. I feel that."

Some people have some seriously scary eyes, looking at them straight in the eyes makes you scared and uneasy and uncomfortable. This is best exemplified when they smile, their mouths are smiling, their faces are smiling, but their eyes, they're not smiling... they're without emotion.

I started to wonder, why do people have eyes like this? Is it genetics, are their eyes just made like that, is it a misinterpretation on my part, am I seeing something that isn’t really there, or is it something more sinister.

Do some people have darkness in their hearts and their eyes, known for their involuntary movements, reveal their true character? Are scary eyes a symptom of a narcissist? a sociopath? an evil person? Tell me what you think

Many famous politicians, including past American presidents, have eyes like this. Many celebrities, too, have eyes like this. Even more surprising, children and babies have eyes like this.

I’ve had multiple girls that I dated tell me my eyes become horrifyingly empty and void when we got into feuds / fights.

Argument starts, they become emotionally distraught like women do, but I don’t get the same emotion. I just stop caring completely, I have no concern whatsoever, and I guess it shows in my eyes when I look at them when we are in our little feud. My last girlfriend would say (after we resolved the argument)

“You don’t get hot headed like a lot of people, you become ice cold at the flick of a switch, like your emotions disappear and you look at me as if I’m just an inconvenience and couldn’t care less what ends up happening with our relationship.

And she was right. When I date girls and we get to the point of arguing about meaningless things, I stop caring and I realize it’s over at that point. Any feelings or emotions I had for them suddenly disappear permanently and I’m only thinking about how to get rid of them. I used to pretend to care, but it’s not worth it at all. I guess it doesn’t help that my eyes are ice cold blue.

I do make direct eye contact with people when I communicate, and perhaps that has an effect on some people.
